Great combinations and service all the way through while I was there! Everything went great and food arrived on time and tasted great

Delicious Tofu soup, reminds me of BCD tofu house! I ordered the beef tofu soup and it was almost the exact same :) !

Got the pork cutlet and tofu combo, it was really good! Better than BCD in my opinion! Would definitely recommend if you like tofu soup.

The tofu soup was really good, and we got really good service! There's a lot of tables so plenty of seating.
They also play kpop on their TV screens which is always entertaining to watch.

I love the Korean food here: galbi, seafood pancakes, tofu soup and banchan. It's located in the big plaza with lots of parking spots. I'll definitely come back.

The Korean ladies here serving you are so friendly & accommodating unlike some other Korean restaurants that made you second guess if you are in the wrong zone.
Most of the items on the menu are great & the tofu soup is always on point! Ginseng chicken soup, galbi tang, spicy seafood soup are some of my favorites!

Dined in on Christmas Day, the restaurant was lively and we were seated promptly. We ordered the Kimchi/beef soup + Bulgogi combo and another Kimchi/beef soup. The Bulgogi was sweet and savory, enough for two people to share. All the ban chan was fresh.
As for the service, they were kind enough but we were not given utensils and had to get up to ask after waiting a while because we were not checked on. Other than that, it was a nice experience. Totaled to about $50 and was worth the price.
The food was so good and comforting especially in this weather that I ordered take out a couple days later. The service this time around was warm & welcoming. Everything was packaged nicely to-go. This time, just ordered the Galbi and Kimchi soup set. The Galbi was tasty but thought I probably would have gotten a better serving size in person, the soup was good and ban chan fresh - all besides the fish cake as it was definitely old or stale because it was super rubbery/dry. I would have preferred the bean sprouts given instead but was not included in the takeout set. You're only given 4 ban chan instead of 6 like in person. The total was $36 which seemed steep for the serving size since you're not getting the same amount as dine in.
Over all, I would definitely come back but only for dine in!

The main thing that stands out about this place to me is its amazing service. We had come here for a birthday dinner and immediately they provided us with a lot of friendly attention. They offered to put our cake away in the fridge for us and even after the dinner, they provided the female patrons with hand cream. When it was time for the cake, they provided us with a bunch of small plates and utensils for the occasion, which was very sweet of them without any heads up warning.
In terms of the food, I had gotten the combo with Galbi as well as a soup (I had ordered the clam. In terms of the Galbi, although it wasn't the best best, it was still very tasty and tender without being overcooked. The soup on the other hand was on the very saltier side, but overall was still not that bad. Would have normally given 3/5 stars for this, but bumped up for their nice service to 4/5 :)

Decent Korean tofu soup option in Rowland Heights. We went here for a Tuesday dinner and there was ample seating. Water in a plastic jug, the usual in Korean restaurants around here, is immediately brought, and a second one (refill) was brought as the jug is fairly small and was just enough for 3 cups only.
We got tofu soups, 2 of which are combos where we opted for the pork cutlet and bulgogi. We also got a separate order of japchae. The tofu soup is fairly good, a bit above average, as the beef is not tough and the shrimp is fairly fresh and with lots of roe and sweetness. The tofu is of sizable quantity. The pork cutlet in particular is excellent, as it is nicely fried and the meat is fairly juicy, and both sauces make it even better. The bulgogi is also good but a bit saltier and have a bit more flour. The japchae is good but has a strong mushroom aftertaste and also a bit on the saltier side.
Service here is good as requests are filled adequately, though you would have to speak up as the servers run around the restaurant and won't stop otherwise. For the amount we ordered, we have a fair amount of leftovers, good enough for about one more meal.

For 2023 Christmas Eve lunch, I was looking for a restaurant close by to one of my youngest brother's church since he had to work that day. I remember one of the Yelpies who I follow did a review on Tofu Bean Korean (TBK) BBQ. It was a pretty good review so TBK BBQ it is. I had called two nights prior to make reservations since we had 14 people. If you have less than 8 people, you may reserve a table online, but more than 8 people, you'll have to call them.
Our reservation was for 11:30 AM. They open at 11:00 AM. Upon arrival, our table was not ready for us and that's okay. There were only two ladies working on the floor. They seem short staffed that day. You would think they have more staff on a holiday weekend. Anyway, they had combined several smaller tables for us. My Mom, my three younger brothers, and our families were all together which was nice. We each ordered our individual dishes. While we were waiting, we did a white elephant gift exchange... this was really fun! Got some interesting $10 gifts!!!
I went for the bibimbap with beef + seafood tofu soup. I gave the beef to my eldest daughter since I don't eat anymore. Bibimbap was not as flavorful as the one I had at Young Dong Tofu. I think it needs more oil or something. Seafood tofu soup was very flavorful with oysters, shrimp, and clams. However, the tofu was in small pieces. I prefer my tofu to be in chucks or whole. The banchan sides were good, but the portions were small. Even though we get free refills on the banchan, portions could have been bigger especially when there were 4 people sharing one set of banchan sides at each table. I feel each person should have their own share of banchan sides. Think about it... if I dined by myself, wouldn't I have my very own set of banchan sides? Yes, I would.
Staff was okay. They did attend to our needs when requested, but the service was a little slow. There weren't a lot of people maybe 4 to 5 other tables. Our table had the most people of 14. Anyway, they should have extra staff especially on a holiday weekend. Prices were reasonable quite comparable to other tofu places. Total bill came out to be $380 tax and tip included which averages to be $30+ per person. They have good space for small and big groups. There's ample free parking as it's located in a good size plaza. Happy Eating!
